Your public booking page
For your own practice: a page you share where clients pick a service and an open time, and you approve anyone new.
Your own practice (a Solo practice) can have a public booking page. Anyone with the link picks one of your services and an open time inside your hours. Clinics do not have this page.
Turn it on
- Go to Practice settings, then Policies.
- In Public booking page, tick Let clients book themselves from your public booking page.
- Choose Save. The link to share appears in the same card, with a button to copy it.
The setup checklist step Let clients book themselves ticks itself once the page is on. Turn it off the same way; the page is then not found.
How a booking works
- Times follow your working hours, minimum notice, booking horizon and buffer, from the Booking card on the same page.
- Before anything is booked, the person confirms with a link Bliss emails them.
- A client you have seen before, picking a time inside the hours you approve automatically, is booked at once and gets your usual confirmation and reminders. Other times wait for you.
- Someone new always waits for you. Nothing is added until you approve.
Confirming with a code texted to a mobile number is not switched on yet. People confirm with the emailed link.
Answer requests
- Requests show under Session requests on your home page, with the email the person confirmed.
- Choose Approve to add them as a client and book the session, or Decline. A person who gave an email is told either way.
- A request you do not answer within 48 hours (or by its time, if sooner) lapses, and the person is told.
- At most 10 requests from new people wait at once, and the page takes at most 20 bookings a day.
- When your client places are all in use, someone new cannot send a request. Bliss emails you their name, contact and the time they wanted instead.
